Technological hub between Morocco and Spain to be launched in July
2006-07-20
The Professional Association for Information Technologies (APEBI) has developed a commercial and technological hub between Morocco's north and Spain's Andalucia, which will be launched in late July. The idea is to create something similar to the Andalucia Technological Park in the Tangier Free Trade Zone to enable private Andalucian Internet and communication technology (ICT) operators to have a platform in the north of Morocco.
"These projects are part of Contact Progrés 2006-2012 for the development of the ICT sector in Morocco in partnership with public authorities, through the promotion of exports and attracting foreign investors," an APEBI statement said. (Morocco Times)
