English language courses organised for Algerian journalists

The Algerian National Trade Union of Journalists and the International Federation of Journalists, in partnership with the Dutch Embassy in Algiers, launched a programme of English language courses for Algerian journalists on Tuesday (18 July). About 30 journalists will enrol in the first six-month course in Algiers. Oran and Constantine are also targeted by the programme. Attendees will receive Cambridge University certificates from the British Council. (IFJ)
