Morocco sentences 47 terrorists to prison

A Moroccan court sentenced 47 Islamists to prison on Monday (22 May) for belonging to a terrorist cell known as the Casablanca Group, AFP reported, citing judicial officials. They were convicted of planning to commit terrorist acts and attack the public order, as well as holding unauthorized public meetings and forging administrative documents. The sentences ranged from three months to 15 years in jail. (AFP)
