Morocco and Italy are set to sign an entente memorandum on non-accompanied migrant minors, similar to that signed with Spain in 2003. Speaking at the Chamber of Advisors, Delegate Minister to Foreign Affairs and Co-operation for Moroccans Residing Abroad Nouzha Chekrouni said the memorandum will exclusively target unaccompanied minors for repatriation, while strictly respecting their rights in line with international agreements. She also said the government has been taking measures to put an end to illegal minor migration, which has negatively impacted the Moroccan image, through co-operation with concerned countries and accompanying projects to integrate minors and protect their rights.
