Tunisian president alerts Mauritanian ruler on revival of UMA

Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali has alerted Mauritanian ruler Colonel Ely Ould Mohamed Vall about "reviving activities of the Arab Maghreb Union (UMA) in all sectors". The message, which also expressed hope the two countries could enhance their "privileged" relations, was delivered by Sadok Fayala, deputy secretary general of the ruling Democratic Constitutional Rally.
