BBC Wraps up Media Dialogue Programme With Algerian Journalists

Six Algerian journalists will travel to Britain this January to participate in a month-long training programme organized by the BBC World Service Trust. From 10 January to 4 February 2005, the journalists will meet with media experts and attend theoretical and practical workshops and discussions.

Organizers hope participants will develop the tools to enhance their skills and share their knowledge and experiences with their own organizations back home. The current programme is the fourth and final study tour the BBC World Service Trust has organized as part of its Media Dialogue Program -- which also included several symposia in Cairo, Egypt; Beirut, Lebanon; Rabat, Morocco; and Damascus, Syria.
