Moroccan Youth Department Launches Free No-diploma Universities

2004-12-07

"Popular universities," free-of-charge learning institutions that do not offer diplomas, are the latest initiative launched by the Moroccan Secretariat of State for Youth and Sports. Offering "knowledge for the sake of knowledge," the programme will consist of a national network to teach sociology, communication, philosophy, history, education and law.

The secretariat considers the initiative a step towards the democratisation of knowledge and an opportunity for people who otherwise could not continue higher education. Popular universities will be open to the entire public. (MAP)

I want the text of the agreements which authorises civil sport associations to use the spaces of educational institutes. The agreement was established between the ministry of education and the ministry of youth and sport.
