Morocco and Spain Sign Literacy Agreement

Morocco and Spain signed a partnership agreement in Rabat at the weekend concerning Morocco's literacy campaign in its northern provinces. The Spanish Agency for International Co-operation has allocated a 950,000-euro budget to spread literacy in provinces heavily influenced by Spanish culture.
According to a press release, Anis Birrou, literacy project director for the Moroccan Ministry of Education, and Spanish Ambassador to Morocco Luis Planas will implement the project in the regions of Tanger-Tйtouan, Taza-Al Hoceima and l'Oriental. (albawaba.com)
