2004-11-04
Oman donated $300,000 to the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (IESCO) to complete its permanent headquarters in Rabat. It is expected to open in May 2005. Oman's Ambassador to Morocco Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Farsi handed the check to IESCO Director-General Abdul Aziz bin Uthman Al Tuwaijri at a ceremony this week. Al Tuwaijri said Oman actively contributes to enhancing Islamic solidarity and integration among Muslims within the Organisation of Islamic Conference and other organisations, including the IESCO.
