Morocco Agricultural Bank to Cancel Debts of Small Farmers

Moroccan state bank Crédit Agricole du Maroc disclosed on Wednesday (18 May) its action plan to help farmers, who experienced a 40 per cent below-average harvest for 2004-2005. The 270m euro initiative will forgive debts of about 100,000 small farmers. The measure, coupled with the tax exemption on agricultural output in force until 2010, is expected to partly lift the burden on heavily indebted farmers. (Morocco Times)

Salam alaikoum, I want to say my brothers that I'm a farmer from the city of Beni Mellal, district of Ouled Youssef, this year is very difficult for Farmers as there are huge losses. Farmers need assistance materially and even developed techniques in order to save expenses and save up high prices of fodder. We always hear about helping farmers but there's no help just drumming and words in newspapers and magazines. Thank you.

But my problem is that I want an agricultural loan. Is it possible to inform me how to get a loan and what are the necessary documents to get a loan? Does this require many guarantees?
