Huge Demand for Maroc Telecom Stock

According to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, trading of Maroc Telcom shares on the Casablanca Stock Exchange was suspended for the second day in a row due to excessive demand. High demand for the company's stock increased its share price by 6 per cent in a single day -- the maximum legal ceiling allowed.

Maroc Telecom Chairman Abdeslam Ahizoune said unprecedented investor demand for shares in its initial public offering is a clear sign that the company's future is bright.
