On Wednesday (8 December), Moroccan and European businessmen and the European Union's Mediterranean Development Assistance program, in association with the Moroccan National Project Office, launched the Moroccan-European Forum in Marrakech. Event participants discussed the future of Moroccan small and medium-size projects and European-Moroccan co-operation under the European Partnership agreement.

More than 100 Moroccan and European investors from various business sectors participated in the forum. Small and medium-size projects constitute 93 per cent of total businesses in Morocco and play a key role in economic development. The forum enables small and medium-scale businesses to sign joint ventures with their counterparts from France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Britain. (albawaba.com)
