Algerian Sonatrach ranks fourth on the list

Dinar Standard, a new business strategy e-magazine, released the first ever ranking of top businesses in the Muslim world, which covers companies from the 57 member countries of the Organization of Islamic Conference. The ranking, called the DS100™, confirms the dominance of the oil sector in the region -- but also a diverse set of innovative, high-growth industries such as telecoms, financial services and transportation. Algerian Sonatrach ranks fourth on the list and Moroccan Group ONA and Maroc Telecom, are listed 42nd and 62nd respectively. (AME Info, Dinar Standard)
