Trans-Mediterranean Minibus Service Underway
2004-12-03
Algerians Abdelhak Chekkaf and Hassan Ould Attou are revolutionizing travel by establishing a minibus service, Mistral Transport, to shuttle passengers and merchandise between France and Algeria on nine-seat minibuses. By loading minibuses on ferries, the duo aims to improve transportation and trade between the two countries. Mistral Transport will market itself as a long distance taxi service offering fares at about half the current price of an air travel ticket. (albawaba.com)
