Algiers Hosts Regional Investment Promotion Meeting

A two-day regional meeting on African investment and development promotion started in Algiers on Tuesday (30 November). An initiative of the Commonwealth Business Council (CBC), the meeting will focus on the consultation process to draft the Report for the Commission for Africa, initiated by British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
The meeting brings together representatives of Algeria's private sector and CBC members. They will make proposals and recommendations on policies to boost both African and international investment in countries on the continent. (APS)
