US-Algeria TIFA Discussions to Start in Washington

The second discussion session on the US-Algeria Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA) is scheduled for 1 December and 2 December in Washington, DC. The Algerian delegation will be led by economic advisor Abdelhamid Temmar, and will include some thirty representatives of Algerian economic ministries and institutions.
Investment promotion and Algeria's accession to the WTO will be two major themes tackled during the session, according to the charge d'affaires of the Algerian Embassy in Washington, Djamel Moktefi. (APS)
