Tunisia: FDI on the Rise

According to Al-Horria newspaper, government statistics show that foreign direct investment (FDI) to Tunisia recorded a slight increase of 1.5 per cent in the first nine months of 2004, compared with the same period for 2003. Most FDI in Tunisia is focused on the energy, textiles and clothing manufacturing sectors. Currently, Italy and France are the largest foreign investors in Tunisia. (menareport.com)
