Some 50 per cent of advertising budgets in Morocco are spent on television
Morocco enjoys the largest advertising market in North Africa, according to a study released by the research group BMCE Capital on Thursday (11 November). Some 50 per cent of advertising budgets in Morocco are spent on television, followed by 25 per cent on publications and 17 per cent on billboards. Radio advertising is the next largest sector at 8 per cent. According to the study, Morocco's total advertising market worth stands at 75m euros. Principal advertisers include Maroc Telecom, Méditel, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Danone, the Coca Cola Company, Nestlé, and Lesieur. (menareport.com)
