According to Al-Horria newspaper, a 16-member delegation of Tunisian businesswomen visited the US state of Iowa from 25 September-10 October, as part of an American-Tunisian co-operation programme. Received by ranking state officials, the businesswomen held discussions with US counterparts. The Tunisian women dubbed 6 October as "Tunisia Day" in which traditional Tunisian products are displayed at a venue in Iowa. A delegation of US businesswomen is scheduled to make a reciprocal visit to Tunisia in the coming months. (albawaba.com)
