Renault Trucks Increases Holdings in Berliet Maroc

According to the Maghreb Arabe Presse, a Casablanca Stock Exchange Authority statement said Renault Trucks recently purchased 312,500 shares of Berliet Maroc. As a result, Renault Trucks' holdings in Berliet Maroc rose to 69.98 per cent. Renault Trucks currently holds 874,790 shares of Berliet Maroc - 681,340 shares owned directly by Renault Trucks and 193,450 shares owned indirectly through its subsidiaries.
Berliet Maroc imports Renault buses, coaches and trucks in knock-down form. The company then reassembles and refurbishes the vehicles along with spare parts for distribution in the Moroccan market. (menareport.com)
