Algeria Signs Trade Accession Protocol

by ratifying the 1981 convention, Algeria is achieving accession to the Arab Trade Organisation
Algeria's Ambassador in Cairo and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Abdelkader Hadjar, signed a protocol Thursday (4 November) for the ratification of documents for the Convention for Arab Trade Development and Management. The convention is the basis for the creation of an Arab free trade area. In a press statement, Hadjar said by ratifying the 1981 convention, Algeria is achieving accession to the Arab Trade Organisation. (APS)
