New Gas Discovery in Algeria

Sonatrach, Algeria's national oil company and Canada's First Calgary Petroleum Ltd announced on Wednesday (3 November) a new gas discovery in southeast Algeria, at the Berkine Basin. This is the third joint-discovery by the companies in block 405B of the Ledjmet perimeter. The discovery consists of two gas reservoirs of 28,886 cubic metres/hour and 26,373 cubic metres/hour. (APS)
