Algerian Maritime Transport Company Launches New Ferry

The National Travellers Maritime Transport Company (ENTMV) launched a ferry named Tassili II on Tuesday (2 November) at the port of Algiers. The 1,300-passenger, 300-vehicle capacity ship cost $65.8m and is part of a fleet renewal programme. Company figures suggest the ENTMV projects a $104.5m turnover and carry about 503,000 passengers and 153,000 vehicles annually. (El Massa)
