Portion of Morocco Telecom to Be Floated

The president of Morocco's finance committee, Mustapha Hanine, announced that the long awaited decision to float 15 per cent of Morocco Telecom would happen on Friday (5 November). A banking source close to Morocco Telecom said the subscription period would be between 22 November and 3 December. According to Hanine, Morocco is hoping to raise up to $1 billion from the sale.
