Featuring eight onboard computers, the mobile IT bus is the first of its kind in Tunisia
Tunisian Minister of Culture, Youth and Recreation Abdelbaki Hermassi visisted the region of Sidi Bouzid to preside over a ceremony establishing an Internet-equipped bus that will serve disadvantaged youth in the region. It will also visit outlying rural schools and other educational institutions. President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali reportedly brought up the idea when he visited the area in June 2003. Featuring eight onboard computers, the mobile IT bus is the first of its kind in Tunisia. (albawaba.com)
