Belgian-born multi-lingual singer and songwriter Lara Fabian will perform in Morocco on Thursday (26 May). Al Bayane reports the concert is her first visit to Morocco.

Fabian was born in Brussels in 1970 to Sicilian parents. She started learning music early in her teens with the encouragement of her parents. After releasing several singles in the 1980s, Fabian was chosen to represent Luxembourg in the Eurovision contest in Dublin.

In February 1998, she was named "Revelation of the Year." In November 1999, she released her first English album, which has sold more than 10m copies worldwide. (albawaba.com)
