Moroccan Painter Comes Home to Display Work
2004-12-28
After a two-year absence from his country, Moroccan painter Abdellatif Lasri returned from France to display his latest works at the Chez l'Artiste gallery in Casablanca through 8 January. The artist said he did not display any works over the past two years because "one does not display when one feels like it but displays when one has something meaningful to display." He is well respected in France where he shows his works at some of the country's most prestigious exhibits. (albawaba.com)
