Algerian "King of Rai" to Sing in America

Khaled, nicknamed the "King of Rai," returned to America for a special concert performance at the star-studded 2004 "GRAMMY Jam." This year's event, which celebrated the music of legendary R&B group Earth, Wind, & Fire, took place on Saturday (11 December) at Los Angeles' historic Wiltern Theatre. The all-star line-up featured Earth, Wind, & Fire as well as Yolanda Adams, Kanye West, Van Hunt, Jill Scott, Randy Jackson, Brian McKnight and many more. Khaled brought his truly unique vocal and musical sound to many classic tracks including "Shining Star" and "Let's Groove." (Le Matin)
