Arab Scouting Organization Celebrates 50 Years

National scouting organization delegates from the Arab world attended their regional conference from 27 November to 2 December at the Cairo International Scout Centre. The 50th anniversary celebration of Arab scouting was high on their agenda.
During the conference, Moroccan Mohamed Afilal was chosen as the new chairman of the Arab Scout Committee and Algerian Nour Al Din Ben Brahim was picked to be vice-chairman. International scouting officials also attended the conference. (World Scouting)

Hello, The Scouting Club will be organising an international gathering in the High Atlases. This gathering will take place in July in Marrakesh and the surrounding vicinity. The participants will come from all the scouting organisations of Morocco, France, Belgium, Spain and the Arab countries. The deadline for inscription is the end of April. –Younes Ouahman, President of the Scouting Club.

We need to make more of an effort in order to tie the bonds of friendship between Arab or, more especially, Moroccan scouts with other scouts.
