Arab Science Exhibition in Algiers
2004-12-01
An exhibition called "When Sciences Speak Arabic" started Monday (29 November) at the Palace of Culture Moufdi-Zakaria in Algiers. The interactive exhibition, organised by the French Cultural Centre and the Palace of Culture will run until December 31.
The exhibition will allow students and the public to learn about Arab sciences between the 8th and 15th centuries. Photographs, old manuscripts, and antique scientific instruments that demonstrate the Arab contribution to science are on display. (Le Jeune Independent)
