Egyptian film director Youssef Chahine will visit Algeria between 9 and 13 December for the national premiere of his latest film, "Alexandria…New York." To the delight of his fans, the award-winning director will stay in Algeria for several days. During his stay, Chahine will visit the Algerian Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the French Embassy. Although a final screening venue has not been set, the best cinemas in Algeria are vying for the opportunity. (albawaba.com)
