Algerian Culture Minister Khalida Toumi received the prestigious Minerva Award on Friday (26 November) in Rome, in appreciation of her fight for democracy and women's rights. Algeria’s ambassador to Italy, Mokhtar Reguieg, and numerous other dignitaries attended the ceremony, held at Rome's Piazza del Campidoglio. (Horizons)
