The Moroccan art isn't well, there are many problems and hurdles to make the plastic art lagging behind, the cause is the foreign intervention in our authentic heritage and disturb it, by some mercenaries who pretend to be artists, but the Moroccan art will develop and make progress though slowly.

To be honest, I think that the Moroccans are suffering an injustice.

In the name of God. The artistic world suffers its worst periods in the history of plastic arts in Morocco. The causes are well-known by everyone. The most important thing for us, the group of militants and Mujahids for carrying the torch of creativity is to continue our resistance. History will determine our value and hard work. God is the assistant. An artist from Tetouan.

The absence of institutes is an injustice to talents.

It is not easy to talk about the plastic arts expression in a few lines. But I will try, from my training as plastic artist, a person who studied the field and as a researcher, not just as an ordinary painter who is proficient technically but has no understanding of the language of contemporary art and the contradictions of the sensitivity of the current time. The Moroccan art has known many progress but today it is moving backward. What we see and what is virtually published on the internet is something very serious. All the works technically and artistically are characterized by the limited artistic vision and similarity in performance. Everyone is adopting old techniques, there is no existence of the artistic, conceptual and intellectual research. It is a real chaos which don’t rise to the level of what we expect for this field to catch up with the language of the era. Art isn’t just a technique and imitation, art is a discourse to communicate and something else…Mohamed Rais, a graduate of the national advanced school of art in Tetouan, school of nice arts in Madrid, the national advanced school of art in Djon and the school of humanities, history of arts in Dijon.
