Algerian Music Legend Dies

On Saturday (20 November) it was announced that Mohamed Reda Attar, one of the founders of the Algerian band Raina Rai, had died. Algerian Culture Minister Khalida Toumi offered her condolences to his family and his colleagues.
Raina Rai was created in the late 1960s in Sidi Bel Abbes. Many of its songs spoke about traditions, religion and patriotism. Over the years, it released hit songs such as "Taila", "Raina Hak", "Ya Ezzina" and "Allah Ya El Ali". (albawaba.com)
