Eighth Abdelhamid Benhedouga Colloquium to Open

University students from Algiers, Tizi Ouzou, Tlemcen, Setif, Khenchela, and other cities around Algeria are gathering at Bordj Bou-Arreridj from 22 November - 24 November for the 8th Abdelhamid Benhedouga International Colloquium. Benhedouga was a popular novelist who died in 1996. An Italian interpreter of his books, Yolanda Guardi, as well as Tunisian literary experts Bendjema Bouchoucha and Touhami Cheriki, will lead discussions on Benhedouga's works. (albawaba.com)
