A gathering called "CasAndalouse" is planned from 25 November - 27 November in Casablanca for Andalusian musicians from all over the world. Organised by the city's local council in co-operation with the Amateur Music Association of Morocco, the gathering will include performances in Casablanca and regional visits to Aïn Sebaâ, Mohammedia, Hay Hassani, and Ben Msik. Local Moroccan musicians as well as musicians from Algeria, Tunisia, Spain, Portugal, and Egypt will perform.

CasAndalouse aims to explore the shared musical history of these countries and encourage future musical co-operation. Orchestras such the Arab Andalusia group, led by Mohamed Briouel, Omar Mtioui's Tangier Orchestra of Tunisia and the Chabab Al Andalouss orchestra of Rabat are scheduled to perform. (albawaba.com)
