Since last year's launch of Star Academy on Lebanese satellite channels, Tunisian youth have become more interested in Lebanese music than Western music. Britney Spears has been replaced by Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram in music stores in this new wave of Arabic music. In past years, it was common to see youth dressed like Western pop stars but today they emulate Baha El Kefi and Ahmed Cherif. (Le Quotidien)
