Algerian Singer to Release new Song

After a long illness, Algerian singer Warda is healthy again and recording a patriotic song she hopes to release by 5 July, Algeria's Independence Day. The song is one of her most ambitious projects in recent years and she is reportedly working over time to ensure its quality. The singer said she is happy to mark her return to the music scene with a song that expresses her "devotion to her beloved country". (albawaba.com)
