Japan Donates Musical Instruments to Algeria

Japan donated $95,000 worth of musical instruments to the Algerian National Symphonic Orchestra on Saturday (30 October). A signing ceremony took place at Moufdi Zakaria Culture Palace between Algerian Cultural Minister Khalida Toumi and Japanese Ambassador Akira Urabe. At the ceremony, Urabe said "Music is one of the most important factors in cultural exchanges between Algeria and Japan." (APS)
