Stone Age Remains Found in Atlas Mountains

A series of prehistoric tombs was recently discovered in the Atlas Mountains’ Azrou region of Morocco. According to the Moroccan Institute for Archaeology and Heritage, excavations determined the tombs date back to the Middle Stone Age, some 120,000 to 40,000 years B.C. (Al Ittihad Al Ichtiraki)
