Star Academy Maghreb enters its fifth week
2007-04-22
Star Academy Maghreb moves into its fifth week with another dismissal. This time, 19-year-old Tunisian Yosra will go home.
By Jamel Arfaoui for Magharebia in Tunis - 22/04/2007

As Star Academy Maghreb enters its fifth week, the number of contestants is down to 12. Algerian contestant Dounia departed last week, followed Friday (April 20th) by Yosra, who failed to win a majority of her competitors’ votes, despite her victory over fellow Tunisian Faten in the public vote.
Faten, Yosra and Libyan Khairi had been placed on the list of nominees for this week, opening up a public vote in which fans select two of them to continue in the competition. The judges' top five for the week were Soraya, Badredine, Jamel, Firas and Hajar, in that order.
During this week's Asian-themed evening, Libyan Khairi chose to perform the Idir song "El Harba Wine" before the judges, earning him 12 out of 20 points. At the beginning of the competition, judge Ghazi Karoui warned that the committee would not be granting points liberally. "The time for the generosity you enjoyed during the past five weeks has passed. Prepare yourselves for our harsh judging," he said.
Faten chose to perform a classic by Tunisian artist Saliha, "Mridh Fani". She received a score of 10.25 out of 20. Contestant Yosra was awarded 14.5 out of 20 points for her rendition of the song "Yakaa Jarhi", by Moroccan artist Naima Samih.
Tempers flared in the house this week. Farid took out his stress on an air conditioner, smashing both it and a recording device and breaking one of the house doors. Farah’s attitude also angered her fellow contestants and the show's producers. To ease the atmosphere, Star Academy management demanded that Farah and Farid apologise publicly, and sent them to a sports facility in the capital to let out their anger by practicing boxing.
Upon her departure last week, Algerian Dounia Boufedjia told the press she did not regret participating and staying away from her studies for a month. "I stayed at the Academy for over a month, during which I considered myself in heaven, because I learned many things that I didn’t know previously," she said. "In addition to getting to know friends from Maghreb countries, I learned about some of the characteristics of these countries and [furthered] my understanding of their dialects," she added.

Despite the show's popularity among viewers in North Africa and Europe, the show has suffered some criticism. Many viewers have sent text messages complaining of the prevalence of the French language in the programme. Libyans in particular are disappointed by the extensive use of French.
The complaint prompted the Moroccan weekly El-Bayan to issue a call to Star Academy's management to reduce the use of French. "Out of respect for the entire Arab world and for our peoples, who are attached to their language, please cut back on the use of French," the paper wrote, proposing instead the use of local Maghreb dialects.
Samira El-Hasyaoui, a student in Tunisia, said she did not have a favourite contestant, but she hoped "the heat in the competition would rise to reach the level of the Lebanese Star Academy". El-Hasyaoui complained of a "lack of excitement that characterises reality TV shows".
Magharebia learned this week that preparations are being made for French football star and native Algerian Zinedine Zidane to visit the house. Media spokesperson for the Karoui & Karoui Group Miriam Bazazi confirmed the news of Zidane’s visit to Tunisia. "Yes, I can confirm the coming of the star Zinedine Zidane, but it’s not within my power to specify the exact date." Several weeks ago, international swimming champion Oussama Mellouli also made a visit to the Star Academy villa in Tunis.

مهند الليبي Posted 2007-04-23
Salam Alaikoum...I want to say that the Moroccan and Algerian dialects are difficult to pronounce for the Libyan students Khairi and Ahmed in star academy. I ask the supervising teachers to take that into consideration...In other words, like Moroccan and Algerian contestants who are offered songs in their countries, Libyan students should be given Libyan or Arabic songs...I think that the popularity of star academy is recessing because that point wasn't taken into consideration...Thanks anyway.

Nice for the first place to be for creativity-- I wish you the best--can I ask the responsible staff to help make this channel on the top in diligence and ambition, simo /Morocco
الملكة Posted 2007-04-24
An unsuccessful program guided by fancies and plans; things will not go right in the presence of a person like Hicham. Things have greatly improved without him, he makes the overture without his rabble (the gates of the hell) which are never closed, we need ( a very very personal referendum) of Hamid, Badrou, Farid, Jamal, Khairi…and so on if someone else other than Yousra were to get the exception? Or the staff directing the program were found out as after top 5 you get out of the house or were the teachers fed up with her arrogance, disrespect and wanted to punish her thinking that she’ll come back with the votes of the viewers who follow the slightest details, on the other hand her friends didn’t want her to return because of her bad attitude and apparent selfishness, expect Mr Nabil El Khaldi more cries, and the question that imposes itself is it an over-emotion or is it a play acted successfully by the actor Hicham willing as he’s supervising the program to extort the viewers and more and more dirhams and dinars forgetting that respect to the intelligence of the viewer and credibility should be a priority not at the bottom of the list!! And Mrs Ilham surprises, who is contradictory in her affirmations, surprises us with a discourse lacking transparency, contradiction, bias, impartiality and showing much more of what’s happening in the coulisses, the improvised decisions show a weakness in the administration, and in order to achieve a material profit, the administration should be unfair, and the contract of the corrupt administration is crowned after Khadija, Hicham and Ilham with Mr Nabil El Khaldi, Abdelmajid who have no character, and Mr Abdelhamid who invented his presence in the committee wherein he has no weight, and Mr Ghazi whom I’ve seen most of the times diverting his eyes, because the grade was put previously in the house and not from the effort on the stage, Mr Abdelhamid Kiassi is excluded from all that, he has added a positive charge to the students as he represents the nice era, and Anis and Sonia with their high spirits. To those responsible for the management of the unsuccessful Arab Maghreb academy learn lessons from the successful programs such as Super Star first part, when Moulhim went out, Lebanese made demonstrations for his return but the director of the program refused in spite of the approval of Diana Karzouane and Rouayda Atia and said that the game is like that, and Ilyass Rahbani who makes of the modesty of the students and their lack of arrogance the first lesson for the one who wants to become an artists as our Arab worlds doesn’t need an arrogant adolescence, she could have learnt the first lesson in life, Mrs Khadija should have invited her to attend the first prime ( as guest of honor). It has become quite clear that the dirty game is targeting the pockets and not diffusing the Maghreb art which was the only concern and objective according to the statement of El Karoui. And we found French, English and Spanish songs to complete the contract of countries that have colonized our Great Arab Maghreb. You young people of the Arab Maghreb should go to other successful programs like super star, Lebanon star academy and most recently album where talents from North Africa (Tunisia, Morocco, Libya) receive high training, coaching and fame. Beware you Maghreb people as the scheme is well combined the nominee will be either Maghrebian or Libyan to ensure more extortion, beware.

Why do they not present Libyan songs in the competition in the program (Great Arab Maghreb star academy) and are sung only by the two Libyan students that's partiality and so they have to sing in Moroccan, Algerian and Tunisian, aren't we with them in the Arab Maghreb, I want an explanation to this evident partiality, thanks.
صوفيا Posted 2007-04-24
I suggest to Nesma channel to broadcast star academy around the clock 24/24 like other reality TV programs and bring football players from Morocco
نادية مسيلة Posted 2007-04-24
Go and die you don't know how to imitate Lebanese it's a shame, especially the candidates, I suggest that you close the house and give the keys to the owners, shame on your sessions, they're meaningless and your teachers, shameful

Frankly, Star Academy is worthless. Why did Dounia and Yosra make it back: you’ve made them hate each other. Ferass is cruel and vicious; he is not like the others. Khairi sings better than Soraya, so why is he nominated every time. Be honest with your votes. Thank you.

I don't agree with the return of Dounia and Yousra, this is a competition and not a play with the feelings of the students the competition has rules and please execute them so that Great Maghreb star academy be serious

First of all a greeting to all contestants namely the Algerians who remind us of Rim Ghazali, I want to ask my darling Khadija to change advertising rules and position of nominees, I also want to say that I live in Lebanon and the Lebanese people encourage the contestants I also have friends in Egypt who called me and congratulated me for the Maghreb star academy and that they encourage Algerians

The return of Yosra is the best thing that happened in the academy because she's the strongest and therefore all the students opposed her return fearing her competition. Don't you see that they aren't as much concerned by the return of Dounia as they are by the return of Yosra
ليبي للمليون Posted 2007-04-28
Firstly, the program is very nice, it introduces to the Maghreb viewer the nice songs of the Arab Maghreb, I wish success to the program. I like Badrou, Ahmed, Khairi and Hamid. I think that there were serious errors "for example the return of the students to the house" Thanks (your brother Libyan for the million)
اسما Posted 2007-04-28
I ask the manager, all the members and Al Karoui brothers to bring the students of Lebanon star academy to the Dar to visit and encourage our students and so that the world knows the competencies of the Great Maghreb. I also wish that the daily life and the prime are transmitted on all Maghreb satellite channels because it's important that everyone knows us, finally I say to Sonia that the level of training she offers to the students is high, sublime and better than the level of the star in general.

نفيسة Posted 2007-04-28
In my opinion, and after Fatin went out while Yosra and Dounia are still there, namely because Fatin has a very nice voice better than Dounia and many of those who are there. Everything is by favouritism, this was evident in the prime when Yosra and Dounia were rescued by the public. I know no one who encourages Dounia.

I like all the students of star academy namely Hamid, Kawtar, Hajar and you Hamid a star and love you so much, Chaima from Morocco (Tangier)
محمد Posted 2007-04-29
I just want to clear one point, it's the teachers who have trapped Yosra believing that she well be rescued, that's why I think it was them who have put pressure on the producers to correct their mistake, on the other hand, the program is in its first steps, as the new-born won't run right after birth, so some encouragement is necessary and the coming will be better....long live the Arab Maghreb
محمد Posted 2007-04-29
Why this excessive interest in the form or rules, what's important is the aim of the program which is to show the Maghreb repertoire and genre, and preserve it..Look at star academy Lebanon which has chosen "interest" as an objective, just remember Hicham (money) and Chada (politics) and others. But Maghreb people are subject either to early elimination (the Algerian, Libyan, Moroccan) as for Tunisians they keep them as they need them in some concerts in Tunisia. In addition, the most prominent of them sing in Lebanese!!!!Total contempt for the Maghreb people and their culture,,, long live the Great Maghreb
العربي العربي Posted 2007-04-29
Unfortunately, beginning the program with the return of a student is considered an unsuccessful start and unfair, and Arabs or those who pretend to be Arab are unable to speak it whether they are teachers or students, unfortunately the name of the program Arab Maghreb star academy why wasn't it changed into French Maghreb star academy?

I will say it frankly, the Dar has become lonesome after the departure of Fatin the brilliant who has made me follow most of the life in the Dar, she's the worthiest student of the Arab Maghreb star title, but luck wasn't on her side, in general, if voting was by emotion, it would have been for Ahmed and Khairi, but with the artistic standards, I'll support Fatin even after her departure because she has huge artistic powers, besides her remarkable presence with her character and eastern beauty, signed A charmed by Fatin Abderrahmane from Libya.

To the administration of Maghreb star academy I want to report a cheating act in the exams by Firas from Tunisia, he has written the words of the song of the exam on his hand in the first prime in the first grand eval the tape can be reviewed as it's very clear. He wrote the second part of the song on a paper which he put on the piano, he read it then put in his pocket. The witness to this is the host Nabila, you can ask her as he refused to take out the paper for fear of being found out. We ask you to apply the law agreed upon in the academy on cheating and remove the result of the student and expel him from the academy as this experience has encouraged Soraya the partner of Firas to repeat the same experience on the date of the eval 29/04/2007 and in the sight of the jury, she has written the words of the song on the paper she used in the song on the basis that it's just a picture. This is considered a derision, cheating and robbery against the jury and the public, the law has to be implemented and there should be no courtesy, the credibility of Star Academy is already in question, especially after the return of Yosra....

Hi everybody. I am really cheering on all the candidates, without exception. But, I would like to make one remark to one person that I don’t particularly like: Fatin. I am truly sorry, but you don’t deserve to stay on the show. Try to change your style and be a lot more fashionable like you know the other girl is and you could win.

Try to follow the example of Lebanon star academy in a correct way..Secondly you've made a mistake by bringing back the two students who have already left (nominees) Yosra and Dounia, because in the law of the academy they took their right and that's it. Be careful, you're not alone and there's someone who will may you accountable for your mistakes towards students, there's an Arab World and learned people watching you, my greetings to the lovely Kawtar, and the handsome and kind Jamal, the lovely Hajar, the handsome and light-hearted Ahmed, here in Lebanon he has many fans and we like him...my greetings to you
نوسة Posted 2007-04-30
Where is the Arabic? They don't speak it- not teachers or students. Unfortunately, the name of the program is Star Academy Arab Maghreb, but why not change its name to Star Academy French Maghreb? And why don't you put a translation on the screen when you show us the daily life of the students. Teachers should speak in the Arabic language and not ignore them. Because when they speak French, they're unfair to the two Libyan students Ahmed and Khairi. Namely in the courses, as the students are entitled to understand what goes on in the courses. We claim the Arabic language, as in Libya our culture is Italian, and despite that, Ahmed and Khairi don't speak it out of respect for our Arab Maghreb and the Arabic language. We ask for a translation- on Lebanon Star Academy, even if they speak many languages, they know that there are people who don't understand them like the Arab Maghreb and the Gulf. Our greetings to Mr. Nabil El Khalidi and the sweet Jamal, the beautiful Kawtar, the great Khairi, the handsome and funny Ahmed.

اسيا Posted 2007-04-30
Really I liked the program and voted several times, but with the return of Yostra, and the attempt of the academy to punish everyone who votes for Fatin and putting them in the pre-nominee, I felt that the program is not successful, and that it has lost its credibility- namely Hicham and Ilham's ploy which isn't convincing to bring back Yosra. From this day I will no longer vote and won't view the program whose aim is cheating and disrespect to the Maghreb public who voted before. My question is, what of the Libyan people who voted abundantly to save Khairi, but whose vote was ignored in order to please the arrogant Yosra? It seems that the slogan of the academy is Not Libyan, Not Moroccan, Not Algerian...But Tunisian, the proof is the high grades for Tunisians, it's apparent that Tunisians are desperate to get the title. We kindly ask the staff of the academy to speak in Arabic, because we're Arabs in the first place and the viewers are Arabs an not foreigners as they're not concrened about us so as to see our creativity injustice is unacceptable in the academy and that's something we don't accept because instead of uniting Maghreb people, it does the opposite, the injustice caused to Khairi everyone has noticed it and hope that it won't be repeated because it's not in the general interest
hassna Posted 2007-05-02
Greetings to everyone- in fact, I was expecting a great prime but the studio is very small... not even big enough for the students! There isn't a big audience and they are in a chaos, unorganized, there's no respect as in the clothing or fashion, the dresses are old-fashioned, as if they bought them from the flea market or stole them, they put on too much make up, if you had brought aesthetics experts from Lebanon they would have become different, to sum up, very old fashioned people, and if you can't do something in a good way, do not do it at all. the starac is bad bad bad
lina Posted 2007-05-02
Hi I want to say to Hajar inchallah you're a star I hope from the organizers and the direction to take into consideration organization in the prime and keep the songs in their nature because they're nice in that way, thank you
ملاك Posted 2007-05-02
There's a total partiality ((Yosra)) on the side of the direction of the acdemy which lessens the interest of the Maghreb viewer to watch the program in this week she made a mistake but didn't drop out of the six nominees we ask the direction of the academy to be firm and not be kind to the student because this is a game and only those who deserve will remain whether by the voting of the public or rescue by the students
اصيل خالد Posted 2007-05-02
We ask the respectful administration to be firmer towards the students and not to go back on its decisions like what happened in the case of Yosra Ahmed - Khairi - Farid Hajar Hamid Jamal we love you so much and namely (Ahmed)

I don't understand why Hamid and Farah voted for Donia despite the fact that they are all Moroccan. This is nutty on their part. I had thought that Hamid was as dumb as a boxof rocks, but unfortunately it is a disease that Farahhas has as well. All the candidates have been voting for their country, but they just wanted to show that that they are fair and are going to vote for those who are close to them. I wonder, if this were the opposite case, would the Algerians do the same thing? I hope that their families wll pass along my message.

أكليل الجبل Posted 2007-05-10
In the name of God, I'm very happy for the Maghreb star academy for a very important reason, because this channel has imposed respect on the viewer by its decent presentation of participants in the first place as they're respecting the traditions by avoiding direct mixing up with girls like in lebanon star academy, I hope that they will be up to the level and mainly respect because our nation, Libya, isn't used to mixing up between boys and girls in the appaling way as we view in some other musical programs and namely because there are Libyan participants, wishing them all success, I have a remark for Khairi, I ask him to be more manly in the way he speaks and his gestures, and avoid the "Bulbul" gestures, as for Ahmed, he's very great and I wish him success.

A greeting to all participants. But Hajar we were trusting your vote, but this week you have disappointed us with your vote for Dounia instead of Jamal, we sympathize with Dounia, but Jamal is better than Dounia and deserves to remain, we love Jamal by his behaviour and voice in the Dar, now I can't follow the program without the presence of Jamal, and this isn't my opinion I transmit the opinion of most viewers. Thank you.

A message to Mr El Karoui and Mrs Khadija to take into consideration the comments of the viewers and avoid partiality to Tunisian students by giving grades in the prime and eval, to diversify songs and not repeat them as the Maghreb heritage is very varied and rich, avoid the discriminatory image that affects the program, more openness towards our brothers in the Arab East, Egypt and the Gulf by inviting guests of honour to the program, famous eastern songs like the songs of Fairouz and Oum Kalthoum that are loved by all people in the Great Arab Maghreb, th Rai.

In reply to brother Sami from Tunisia contributing on this great site, and to all brothers who deal with Maghreb art and personality with a local limited racist view, they should take the example of Cheikh Ifrit who have enriched and collected the Maghreb heritage in Tunisia from the thirties of last century, he's a researcher and true artist, he made up a rich library of the Maghreb heritage, culture and art, he's the son of a Moroccan father and Libyan mother, he isn't Jewish, according to what was said in cultural forum on the Tunisian satellite channel Hannibal...last week. We hope that brothers Karoui take note and consider that.
كارهة المعوق حميد وقرحة Posted 2007-05-17
The worst starac in the world is the Maghreb, partiality to Tunisians, violations of the rules of the game, offering to Yousra famous and easy Moroccan songs that can be sung by a mad or a child like 'Yak Ajerhi' and 'Mersoul El Houb' while Libyans are assigned Tunisian songs whose author died in the 18th century, even Tunisians ignore them, Firas the big-headed famous Tunisian songs like 'Ya lakeroua' and 'Inaka Dalem', that's unfair and this is a discrimination between Maghreb people instead of uniting them, and go to hell

Salam Alaikoum, I vote for Khairi and Farah
سيف - من ليبيا Posted 2007-05-18
Hi, in fact I liked Hajar, a strong voice, and a strong presence, she sings most of the music types greatly, and even the Libyan songs she sings them greatly, even better than the Libyans Khairi and Ahmed, I don't like Khairi and hope that he will leave because he's childish, but Ahmed, he reaaly deserves to be the star. Yousra has undeoubtedly a strong voice, but her return to the Dar was a big mistake which threatened the credibility of the prohram. Farah has a nice voice but only the problem of the Arabic language, Soraya a strong presence, but her voice is a bit weak with my respects, Firas a strong character with a good presence, Badrou has the best character and I believe he's the kindest and the problem of the Arabic language threatens him as well like Farah. Dounia has a weak voice, but she's the only who sings in a good way some slow songs. Hamid and Farid are great and the best for me, my only reproach is the violation of the rules of the game by the committee which made the program lose its credibility, you're bright

After the masquerade of the fourth prime, a greeting of thanks to the Tunisian star academy, Rades, Bab Souika, Lamnar, Fetatou, and I don't know what, yesterday I was twenty, and Yousra the victim of whom the brother Karoui have made a joke between her arrogance and begging the jury to award grades in the exam and the prime, one time from Mr El Kayas, one time from Mr Hicham, and another time from Mr Farhat and if the mood of Mrs Ilham allows it. We thank the program again for two things : 1/ our introduction to the Tunisian heritage and Tunisian songs, and we tell them we're the sons of the Great Maghreb people countries we're expecting the turn of every Maghreb country in this country next years 2008/2009/2050..., 2/we thank again the Tunisian star academy Firas/Soraya/Yosra, because we've discorvered through it the great and wonderful site Magharebia, it's in fact a true bridging link between the people of the Great Maghreb.

I was very proud of you, but, because Badro’s resignation has lowered the value of Star Academy, I am not anymore. You have disappointed me. Obviously, he will not be nominated. Even the professionals as a whole won’t. There is that old one who might, but it would be better to change him out. Honestly, you showed us that you are not able to do anything worthwhile in the last show. You are not honest. Just go bye-bye. You are horrible. Go to hell. I am not going to watch Nessma TV anymore. I already deleted it from my favourites on the television.
mah Posted 2007-05-19
I would like to respond to Malika. I see you have something against Hichem, but I’d like to say something myself: His is the best in all of Star Academy. So keep your opinions to yourself. You’re a failure, that’s all.

هدى Posted 2007-05-20
I'm Houda from Algeria, a student in the Arts Institute. Thank you for this program, but its level of success is less than 10 percent. That's due to any negative aspects, that are appearing in the program in grading and the choice of songs for the students, because we see that the votes for the students are violated, like Yosra for example, they're wondering why did she return, I say that the reason is that transparency and integrity are missing, she has a great voice, we in the institute give an example of her voice, it's said that she has the voice of Rebab, and I'm not the one who evaluate her, but it's the evaluations of teachers who have high diplomas in music, and we are in front of Maghreb star academy and not Europe star academy, so why are they evaluating the students with European songs, and we're not Europeans, we're looking for the star, as for beauty and smartness they have their field, we're in front of the art of music, so we ask you please with all respect and esteem to take care of that because the program is threatened and the right person isn't in the right place, the impartiality of the teachers, evaluation for the essence and it's the voice and if it's with dancing, it should be for all students, and be careful, because after the departure of Jamal, Yosra, Ahmed, Hajar or Farid, we want the star to be among these students, and we say to Ghazi we're one Maghreb Arab nation, so be impartial, special thanks to Ilham, you're one of the best and fairest teachers, thanks with the greetings of the student of the Art Institute in Algeria and good luck to the jewel voice Yosra
زعنون محمد Posted 2007-05-20
Hajar, Hamid and Farah you're the stars of Morocco, Ahmed what do you think of Morocco, Yousra you're the girl who saved Farah, salam to all the guys, I want you young people to sing for me nice songs in a soiree of the beloved ones, Hajar you're the most beautiful girl in the world
ماجدة لينا Posted 2007-05-20
The most charming, beautiful and smartest in the academy is of course Farid, by God, he's very good in singing, dancing and acting. He's always smiling, and above all, he has a big heart, and adds a beauty to the villa. He's a real artist, I like so much his famous saying 'Art isn't something easy, you have to be patient'. He understands the value of art and he's aware that artistic success can be achieved only through hard work. The nicest thing is that he sings well in the Amazigh language, gives it a more acceptable spirit for the listener, and he's the only one there to present the Kabyle Amazigh heritage which undoubtedly reflects the civilization of the Arab Maghreb. He has truly embodied the idea of the program and its ultimate objective. May God protect you for us and make you win the title of the Arab Maghreb star, become a big star and be the successor of the big stars Idir, Ait Mounkalt and others. You're the pride of Algeria and we love it to the bone, my kisses to the nicest Farid
مسعود ليبيا Posted 2007-05-21
I don't imagine that there's a more degraded and absurd program out there. You can see the behavioural and scientific level of its producers, the violation of the rules of the academy from external pressure, internal partiality... this is unacceptable! What happened to Khairi is clear proof, everything has become clear, the committee of shame and grief.
درنه _ ليبيـــــــــــــــــــــــا Posted 2007-05-21
This is really a nice program but there are a few things that are missing concerning the administration of the program and the arrangement of songs to students, as the student thinks about how to sing but finds difficulty in singing and tries to memorize the song without understanding its meaning, our hearts are with Ahmed the nice, Khairi the smart, my greetings to teachers of the academy namely Hicham the very creative artist ((we love you Ahmed and Khairi)).

ليلي من ليبيا Posted 2007-05-22
To Khadija the lamentable director, you've destroyed the dreams of the student Khairi and ruined his future because of your excessive selfishness and hatred towards Libyans. You should have learnt from the successful director Rola Saad first before producing a program, or is it decided the star will be Tunisian? You are envious and of course you don't want Libyans to win like in the super star. May God help us, and may God take revenge for us, you're poor, needy and absurd, I hope that you'll reply to this letter. A devoted fan from Libya
محمدأستاذ الموسيقى من الجزائر Posted 2007-05-22
From following this academy which pretends to promote the Maghreb heritage, we have noticed that its administration has made a mistake by bringing back Yosra two days after her departure and added Dounia so as to delude the viewers and followers of the life of the students in the Dar that it changed its mind, I say that the return of Dounia after one week to disguise the total partiality to Yousra, why didn't they return Yousra before the exit of Yousra, or how else can we explain that? Partiality was evident in several situations, for example in the exam before the jury, Yousra has stopped during the song and went away from the jury disappointed and lost a witness to herself for all the problems she faces every time before the jury and despite that she wasn't a nominee even among 6. In addition to the irrational grading of the students, during the prime Mr Ghazi awards the best 14 to Tunisians and only 12 to 13 to the best Algerian, Moroccan or Libyan student. I also thank Khairi for his withdrawal because he really felt the injustice he suffered in grading, in the prime Khairi was awarded 14 whereas Yousra had 12.75 and after the exam of Sunday Khairi goes out as a nominee while Yousra stays. We notice this in its slightest details. N.B. Why are the grades of the exams not shown directly on the screen so that the viewers can see them? Why are they hidden? What's the secret behind that? If you want to imitate the Lebanon star academy you should avoid these negative points. The proverb says, If the raven tries to imitate the partridge, he forgets his own way of walking. Finally, I hope that these weak points do not affect the credibility of the Arab Maghreb star academy which have begun in its first weeks of life.

Salam Alaikoum, I'm SOraya from Algeria, I want to say to Hajar you're malicious, and she showed an evil opposite to the beauty offered to her by God, because she preferred Dounia to Jamal, because Dounia has a very weak voice and you can't even hear it with the music... Hajar you're afraid of Jamal like most students...An advice to the students and the viewers to vote for the best and not following origins so that the program can truly be called Maghreb Star Academy...Please because I feel that there's a great discrimination from Maghreb teachers, try to be realistic to look like Lebanese...this an advice to myself and to you...I like Hamid, Jamal, Badrou, Farid, Farah, Yousra, Firas and the Libyan, really without discrimination because we're all Arabs namely Maghrebians, think seriously about that, finally I wish happiness and luck to everyone, I love you all...Salam

وليد محمد على Posted 2007-05-29
By God this star is an absurdity and it's clear that its law is the law of the jungle, the survival for the strongest, and the strongest is Tunisia because the program is in its hands, why wasn't Dounia brought back after she was eliminated? When Yosra the Tunisian left, everything was upside down, and Yousra and Dounia were returned, because there's cheating and favouritism in the programme of mafias. Hamid goes out with honour like Khairi and leave them break it up as they like, but the administration should know that the viewers are human beings like you and have minds, bye

Firstly, I congratulate Maghreb people for this great channel and its wonderful program, secondly the Maghreb people didn't imitate Lebanon, and supposing that they do that, it's as if it's Lebanon who innovated that program. Anyone who compares the two is crazy, and Maghreb star academy is successful, and if anyone says the contrary he shouldn't be from the Arab Maghreb countries. I want to ask you to translate French conversation because one of the Arab Maghreb countries doesn't speak French: Libya. I would also like to say that you're ignoring a second state of the Arab Maghreb states: the dear Mauritania, can you remember it even if none of the students is from there in your great program? You say the Great Arab Maghreb Morocco, Algeria, Libya and Tunisia, you should add Mauritania or the Arab Maghreb won't be complete if you ignore one of its states. I hope that you'll consider this point which is very very important. Thank you.
