Rugby Promotion Campaign Launched in Morocco

The Moroccan Association of Children of the Oval (L'Association les enfants de l'ovale du Maroc), headed by former French rugby player Philippe Sella, announced the launch of a rugby promotion programme for underprivileged youth and the opening of a rugby stadium in Temara on Sunday (27 February).

The location of the stadium in a poor rural district gives underprivileged children an opportunity to learn the sport. Programme sponsors hope to partner with the Royal Rugby Federation to create similar initiatives throughout Morocco. (Equipe)
