King Mohammed VI launched construction on Wednesday (January 7th) for new business parks near Morocco's Tanger-Med port complex, local and international press reported. According to Reuters, the parks will target export businesses specialising in auto parts, textiles, electronics and food production. The project is expected to generate around 300,000 job opportunities within 20 years, MAP reported, adding that its 8-million container capacity makes the port complex one of the major trans-shipment platforms in the world.
