NATO, Mediterranean Dialogue countries discuss collective security

NATO foreign ministers and their counterparts from the seven Mediterranean Dialogue (MD) countries (Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Mauritania, Morocco and Tunisia) reaffirmed Tuesday (December 2nd) in Brussels their strategic partnership to boost Mediterranean security and combat crime and terrorism, MAP reported. Moroccan Foreign Minister Taib Fassi Fihri raised the question of security in the Sahel and the Sahara regions which, he said, has an impact on the security situation in the Mediterranean.
