Moroccan blogger Mohamed Erraji, who was sentenced to two years in prison for disrespecting the king, was granted provisional release by an Agadir court on Thursday (September 11th), MAP reported. The appellate court found that the lower court failed to respect some provisions of the Press Code in the blogger's trial. In a statement from Paris, Reporters Without Borders praised the decision to release Erraji, adding that the "Moroccan judicial system must now hear his appeal in a proper manner".
