Nine deputies of the Moroccan Islamist party of Justice and Development charged with investigating the Sidi Ifni port blockade and altercation announced Tuesday (June 17th) that "no death or rape cases were documented" in relation to the June 7th demonstrations, MAP reported. Arabic-language al-Massae said two women deputies on the panel heard testimony from the city's women. According to official figures, 48 people were injured, including 20 demonstrators and 28 policemen.
