Moroccan Attijariwafa Bank to finance programme supporting higher education reform

The Moroccan Ministry of National Education, Higher Education, Scientific Research and Professional Training and Attijariwafa Bank signed a partnership convention to launch a support programme for scientific preparatory classes. The bank's support will facilitate the access of 1,200 students in preparatory classes in engineering schools in Morocco and France, as "part of a new form of partnership conventions that seek to carry out the fixed objectives of reforming educational system," Minister of National Education Habib El Malki said. The financial aid will be used for modernising the libraries of 11 colleges providing preparatory classes through the acquisition of specialised books, equipment and software data-processing. The bank will also organise a week of preparation for eligible students for the examinations in French schools of engineering. (Morocco Times)
