North Africa's largest shopping and entertainment centre opened on Saturday (30 April) in Rabat. Designed by a Moroccan architect, the "Mega-Mall" complex was built over 26,367 square metres at a cost of around 22m euros. According to figures provided by complex management, approximately 1,200 jobs were created.
The complex comprises a 1,828 square metre ice skating rink, a fast-food restaurant, a 1,230 square metre bowling area, a multi-functional space and a playground. Shops cover 5,920 square metres and house about 80 brand names. Around 3,000 people are expected to visit the mall daily. (E-Marrakech, AP, Yabiladi)
